Claude Gloden: Poetry is words - and any collection of words - is subject to ridicule. The "sissy" aspect is only because of poetry's history (like Shakespeare) and being the language of love - kind of. A lot of people - never consider - that song lyrics - including rap - contain great poems.Then again - maybe "poetry" is just a form.
