is the word "riddle" correctly used in my sentence?

Linwood Mccory: Excellent, easily understood sentence.Riddled means "spread throughout", as in "Congress is riddled with corruption", which I'm sure is VERY easily understood by any American.

Phil Kuarez: riddled means like a joke. like a riddle. i would use a word more like.. .i was flustered

Shan Lanen: I was furious when I heard about his objection.
