They are very loyal and lively, and will do well with older children. However, they are aggressive and love to bark. It will require regular, daily brushing to get rid of loose and dead hair. They are prone to patella luxation, collapsed trachea, hypoglycemia, and eye infections. Early socialization is very important. And don't skimp out on training. You will have to be firm and consistent. On the plus side, the Pom-chi only needs little exercise. Throwing a ball around the living room for a while is enough for the little Pom-chi. You need to stope feeding her because she probably figured out if she doesn't eat her own food she gets yummy people food. Your dog is smarter than you think! A way you resolve this is give her some dog food and mix it with peanut butter it natural and full of protein trust me she will eat it hopefully you are still giving her puppy food because she doesn't mature until 2 or 2.5 yrs. old and that way she will fully develop morsel if possible.
Abby Herwood: if you've told them that you're going for a walk a! s you put the leash on and take them out and walk, then they know, if you are continual with it. i don't teach my dog specific commands. whenever we go out, i ask him if he wants to go out. if he gets excited, then i know he really wants to go, and that he is understanding me more as i keep letting him know what out is. i also say out when he has to use the bathroom. so out means a lot to him. it can mean bathroom(but he is starting to let me know), it could mean dog park, ride in the car, walk, anything that deals with out. he loves it....Show more

Most people will take them to the vet to find out what breed they are and if they're fixed, and healthy. Most likely, she's hiding somewhere because she's scared. As soon as I start getting the boys dressed they are antsy to get going, and when I end up NOT taking the dogs with me, they sit and watch forlornly at the door until I close it. Some ingredients may upset her stomach and ! even harm her. Try getting her back on dog food by mixing her dry food with a wet food and slowly wean her to dry. Avoid giving her people/cat food. It is for her own good.
Dorris Homola: Do not allow her to eat any of those other things. Put down the food in the morning for about a half hour to an hour and again at night for a half hour to an hour. She will eventually eat her own food as long as she isn't getting fed anything else. You can also try another kind of food of you think that's what it is.Many times if a dog eats one food for too long they get bored of it and can even develop allergies to the food. I do what is called "rotation feeding" with my dog. I'll feed her one bag or one kind then transition her over to another when that is getting low, then to another when that is almost done, then back to the first kind again when that is almost done. It keeps the dog guessing as to what it will find in it's dish and keeps things interesting for them.You can re! ad up on it yourself, just search something like rotation dog feeding... It might soud cruel but if u put the food out there and just leave it, eventually the dog will get hungry and eat it. She is smart enough to figure it out. They're like! babies, u start giving them real food and they will reject the disgust! ing baby food from then on out till u make them eat it. (Bad comparison since I am a Mom but u do get the point).
