ARE ASIAN IN US TREATED like slaves. high education levels, little to show for it?

Gwenda Micheals: U A DUMBA$$ !!!

Amina Motzer: wtf ? lol.. They represent the single most successful group in America. They also have the strongest family unit in America.Something Libs just hate to acknowledgeUh.. they also represent more than their share of SUCCESSFUL people including Doctors...Show more

Hubert Jestes: They might be better off going to their families country of origin. I think China for instance will pay pennies on the dollar for that bachelor degree they have.

Nona Lentini: they choose science, engineering, math careers.. "corporate" careers are for whites with mbasplus... if they want something, they they should take it instead of crying about it on yahoo

Lawana Neemann: Remember Motorola, Quasar, RCA, Zenith, and Philco? They are still here but they are all owned by the Japanese. How did they get to be owned by the Japanese? Japan subsidized their companies like Toshiba, Hitachi, and Sony billions of dollars so they could und! ercut the prices of American electronic manufacturers. Now they'll owned by the Japanese and SONY is the largest producer of electronics. When this was happening during the seventies they cried discrimination then saying Americans were racist against them for complaining about the lower prices. They denied the govt was subsidizing them. lol I still don't trust the japs. And neither should you....Show more

Nannie Kasee: Where do you get all these stats?

Torri Tippey: Asians as a whole in the US, are higher educated, earning more then any other group, including whites. Pretty soon, they will be the masters

Keven Drumgole: a hud study says there is housing and rental discrimination against asian americans

Malissa Porth: I recall a study a few years back that referenced another study done in the 1960s regarding ethnicity and profession...In the original study, the most common professions associated with Asian males were "gardener" and "domestic"... for As! ian females it was "laundress" or "cook".....In the second stu! dy, just a few decades later.... the profession most associated with both Asian males AND females was the same: DOCTOR.....it represented the largest shift of any other ethnicity or race involved in the study.......Show more

Jackson Esmiol: You are way, way off.Asians in the US are not treated like slaves, nor are they really discriminated against in any consistent, meaningful way, the way some other ethnicities are. In fact, from my experience, they are over-represented in professions like medicine, academia, and other high-paying fields. They are under-represented in the political arena, true, but how many enter politics? It has absolutely nothing to do with the money Asian nations might invest in US treasuries. Sorry....Show more

Hobert Dula: According to the White men ...... Asians can't compete with Whites.............so! having an Asian plant manager or engineer mite harm the productivity of the corporation.............while Toyota is building a new manu! facturing firm next doorOMG! and having Asians in Congress + the Supreme Court = nightmare for Wall Street geeks..........Asians refusal to be corrupt + parade in Gay Pride parade ain't going to sale!...Show more

Ronnie Barcus: IF THEIR ASIAN COUNTRIES DID NOT LEND THE US trillions, they wopuld get far less in us. the asian dont challenge nothing in us either. if they did, they would be cut off. they are exploited. cant get green cards, permanent citizenship, and resources.

Torrie Weissenbach: My guess is the 38% who are not citizens are foreign college students. They are doing fine. Their hard work is paying off.My Optometrist is asian. He doesn't look like he is down trodden.

Sherita Gallati: Intelligent people start and create things. Others go to work for them. Owning a small business van be very profitable and you do not have to play the corporate games

Kenneth Thuesen: Most Asians in the US (at least the educated and ambitious ones) actually ! draw salaries comparable to residents. Sure, they are underrepresented ! in politics but that's probably because politics doesn't interest them much. They'd rather be working in IT or medicine and doing stuff that really matters.
