Well, if you really think about it, 60 bucks a year for all sorts of online gametime and vids and demos and just about whatever you want isn't that bad. Irvin Guiles: Don't trade it. Xbox live is worth paying for, there are many great games as well that are multiplayer like halo reach. I've had an xbox 360 since a few months after its release, and it has been awesome.

And about the online, for having an Xbox 360 for online can cost you more than the actual cost of either system, depending for how long you are paying to play. I have had both the PS3 and 360. I haven't any problems with either system a! nd I prefer the PS3 over the 360. Sure Sony got hacked but that is in the past now. Sony has done everything to prevent it from happening again. And if you worry about it, just use PSN cards to purchase DLC or rent movies. Fact: The 360 servers have gone down in the past too. I've had both the PS3 and the 360 since they came out.I enjoy movies so the blu-ray player in the PS3 has saved me a lot of money.A downside for the PS3 is that you cannot play your old PS2 games :( But they have started making collector packs for the favorite PS2 games like a Sly Cooper collection.The 360 can play some, but not all of the old Xbox games.And I am sick and tired of people saying that this console has better graphics and what not. Each game is formatted for the particular system. So a game on the PS3 could have slightly different textures than that of the 360. From what I saw on a forum, the 360 has more textures in Portal 2 but it runs the game at a lower resolution than the PS3. And th! ere is a slight difference in the textures.Anyways, the PS3 ha! s many more exclusives and is continuing to grow with more of them. But if you are big in first person shooters, then get the 360. But if you want the variety like me, then I would get the PS3. And just saying, if you get the 360, then you would be missing out on the Uncharted series which is VERY fun. It is my favorite game series. By the way, I have played each and every exclusive that is out now and listed below. Please note that every game is not out now in the list below. And as which games I prefer. Gran Turismo 5 (PS3) is an amazing racing game, but could be more customizable. Left 4 Dead (360) is extremely fun online with friends. LittleBigPlanet 2 (PS3) very fun plat-former like Mario except you can create your own levels and stuff. Playstation Move in my opinion has many more games and is way more responsive than the 360's Kinect. Gears of War 2 (360) has okay online but overall, a good 3rd person shooter. However, not as fun as the PS3's Uncharted series (also a ! 3rd person shooter but with a great story and animations). I honestly got sick and tired of Halo (360), but Halo Reach has a decent multiplayer. Mack Ukich: KEEP YOUR XBOX xbox live is way better that's why you have to pay for it, and if you buy a prepaid card on amazon it is around 40$ instead of 60$
