computer science or networking?

Shamika Schools: Computer Science IS Computer Networking. For example I have my degree in Computer Science, Computer Networking Systems. Computer Science is going to be the degree you get with i guess you can call it a subdegree which can be Networking, internet security, programming, you get the idea. I think if you want to start out making a lot of money go with programming. I say this because there is always demand for programming and they make a lot of money. From my experience in school with my teachers and instructors it seems that computer networking can take a little while to get up in the big leagues. It could take a few good years before your making a good amount or are put in charge of a network. It may be because usually the network is already there and you are being hired to just make sure verything goes smoothly, as opposed to programming you are constantly writing programs or adding stuff to your program. Its basically up to you though they both can ma! ke a lot of money. One of my instructors was getting $200 an hour for setting up network infrastructures and configuring everything to work right.
