repairing cars from dents?

Manual Burtis: Hi there man. First of all, you should be a certified car expert. Then buy the tools and equipments needed to run a shop. And finally get a license for your business.

Theresia Fashaw: About a hundred thousand to set up shop, get proper licenses, register business, etc. Pay expenses, give the government their cut, pay medical, and if you have anything left over, call it profit. good luck

Misty Vagle: You are wanting to open your own body/repair shop?If you are just going to do it small time, you can probably work out of your garage at first (or if you don't have a garage, either use someone elses or rent/lease a space). You will need an air compressor + air tools. Sander, spray gun, etc., plus other miscellaneous mechanics tools (socket sets, wrenches, screwdrivers, etc.).If you are going to be doing more than just basic paint, you will probably want to build a paint booth with proper ventilation, and get yourself some breathing gear. Then you c! an paint parts, or whole cars.Getting business is always the real trick - you might have to hook a few people up at first, and let them refer friends/family etc. Depending on how good you are at it (basic body work and paint is pretty straightforward, but past that it becomes more like an art), you might be able to operate off of word of mouth, or advertise a little bit....Show more

Cliff Tyre: You got the cart before the horse. You should get yourself enrolled in a technical college and take courses in auto body repair. If you have no clue what tools you will need, you have no clue what it takes to correctly make auto body repairs. Your business will fail miserably.Go to school. When you are finished you will know exactly what tools you will need because you will have been trained to use them....Show more
